North Harlem Elementary School Greeenpower Team is comprised of 16 young ladies and 16 gentlemen from the fourth and fifth grades.  Students applied for their positions and were chosen by a teacher panel based on their application responses and their willingness think outside the box and problem solve.  The students were given the opportunity to choose to participate on the race/build portion of the team or the marketing/design side of the team.  The students realize that all jobs within the team are super important to the overall production and performance of our Generation II Goblin car.  This after school team is the first of it's kind, partnering with community businesses to bring engineers into our school.
